Help Anjali keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked

The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Jalandhar is running low just as demand rises; $300 will stock it for 9 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Thursday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 22 families, and now we feed 319 each week. Donations have dropped by about 56% this summer, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Jalandhar market and keep every receipt. Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $300 goes: • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $185 • Refrigeration and electricity: $60 • Baby formula and diapers: $55 With deep gratitude, Anjali

  2. Small update. $175 so far, I met with the wholesaler and confirmed the amounts.

  3. We're at 42% thanks to 2 of you. I made the first payment toward baby formula and diapers. More news soon.

Wishing you the best, Anjali. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Wish I lived closer to Southampton so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
