After a violent robbery, Angelo has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at the Manila Counselling Collective cost $10 each. Angelo has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Angelo could afford. The therapist recommends 20 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Angelo, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment. The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record. Where the $450 goes: • 20 therapy sessions: $360 • Psychiatric assessment: $75 • Workbook and resources: $15 I hope life is good to you. - Herman

  • Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Angelo

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. 20 therapy sessions is the biggest at $360. It helps to be asked.

  • Sending strength. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Puebla
