Help Andrew pay for knee replacement surgery at Manukau General Hospital
A scheduled knee replacement surgery in November is out of reach without help covering $2,200 of the cost.

Andrew was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair in August. The surgeon at Manukau General Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,400, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,200 short.
my father has been in and out of Manukau General Hospital since August. The doctors say a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,400 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Andrew struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Andrew won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,450
• Physiotherapy sessions: $440
• Post-operative medication: $310
Thank you so much.
