Help Anderson save Pepper - surgery needed
A cat named Pepper needs orthopedic surgery - a $950 bill the family can't cover.
🇧🇷 Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil1,372 views
Pepper is my cat of three years. On 17 August we rushed to Niterói Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $950.
They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $70 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Niterói Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pepper's recovery.
Where the $950 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $550
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $220
• Medication and follow-up visits: $80
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $100
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Ciudad de México but we're thinking of you
How is Anderson doing now?
Hang in there. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My husband and I read this together. Blessings.
Wishing you the best, Anderson. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care!
Thinking of you, Anderson. Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to Paris so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Cambridge.
