Help Ananya with an overdue gas bill before winter

The gas account is 2 months behind. Ananya received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before a reduction in hours. Ananya called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which isn't available.
