Ananya is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Amritsar Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $550. The registrar has said Ananya can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ananya has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ananya would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Ananya isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Amritsar Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $550 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $250 • Final term tuition: $220 • Exam and lab fees: $45 • Textbooks and materials: $35 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Pavithra
