Ananya is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Lucknow University, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $300.
The registrar has said Ananya can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ananya has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ananya would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Ananya isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $300 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $30
• Outstanding tuition balance: $240
• Exam and lab fees: $30
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thinking of you, Ravi. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
rooting for you, Ravi. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Lucknow.
