Help Amira start the school year with the right tools
Amira earned a place in the first year of senior school at Shubra Girls' High School; we're $155 short on required supplies.

Amira earned a place in the first year of senior school at Shubra Girls' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $155, which is more than they have.
Amira loves biology and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $155 goes:
• Laptop: $85
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Textbooks and workbooks: $45
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Shubra.
Thank you. If you're in Shubra I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great.
Hope it all works out. Your post was clear and honest. Love from Mississauga.
hope things get better soon, Rima. This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Cairo this morning. Take care.
