Help Amélie replace the transmission and return to work
Without my school-run minibus Amélie can't work; a $1,800 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 4 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,800. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $1,250
• Labor charges: $200
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $260
• Towing and inspection: $90
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Best of luck. Small businesses are the heart of Paris. Hope you're open again soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Dhaka.
Hope you make a strong comeback. My neighbor in Recife donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Recife.
Wishing you the best, Amélie. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
best of luck. Looking forward to the next update. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Tel Aviv so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Amsterdam.
