Help Amélie keep the the Sunday Shelf pantry stocked
The the Sunday Shelf pantry in Marrakesh is running low just as demand rises; $750 will stock it for 12 weeks.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Monday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 23 families, and now we feed 336 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 42% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 20 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Marrakesh market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $750 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $370
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $260
• Baby formula and diapers: $85
• Refrigeration and electricity: $35
With deep gratitude,
Amélie

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Amélie!
Rooting for you. More neighborhoods should do this. Wish I lived closer to London so I could bring a meal. All the best
Thinking of you and your family, Amélie. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
hang in there, Amélie. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings.
