Help Amelia restart a sewing studio in Tallahassee after the demolition of the market
Amelia lost a cutting table and overlocker to the demolition of the market and needs $3,400 to reopen a sewing studio and support the family.

For four years I have run a sewing studio in Tallahassee. In September, the demolition of the market took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,400 goes:
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $1,500
• Initial stock: fabric: $960
• Shop repairs and licensing: $220
• Working capital for the first month: $720
Thanks for being kind about this.

Keep going, Amelia. Hope the shop reopens soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Taguig.
