Amelia lost her brother suddenly and the family cannot cover funeral and burial costs of $5,350.

Miles, my brother, passed away on 12 July after complications from pneumonia. He was 69 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $5,350 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 21 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Miles to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Bakersfield hospice.
