Help Alyssa lay Janet to rest with dignity in Scranton
After the sudden passing of Janet, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Janet, my grandmother, passed away on 5 April after a sudden heart attack. She was 55 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,250 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 April.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Janet to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.

• Transport of the deceased: $210
• Memorial gathering for the family: $290
