Mandaue
Allan was diagnosed with cervical cancer in May. The oncology team at Mandaue Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Allan is 28, worked as a bakery worker until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mandaue Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,400 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $105 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $810 • Scans and lab work: $170 • Household costs while unable to work: $315 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Imelda

  • Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Mandaue.

Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team, advice is welcome too. It helps to be asked.

  • Hope things get better soon. Hope you get there. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Düsseldorf
