Perth
Alexandra earned a place in the first year of senior school at Perth Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $850, which is more than they have. Alexandra loves mathematics and wants to become a software developer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. She will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $850 goes: • Laptop: $400 • School uniform and shoes: $230 • Textbooks and workbooks: $170 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $50 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Santiago

Sending good thoughts, Santiago. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 28 years in public service I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
