Alexander earned a place in the first year of senior school at Mobile Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $1,000, which is more than they have. Alexander loves graphic design and wants to become an engineer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. He will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $1,000 goes: • Laptop: $540 • School uniform and shoes: $100 • Textbooks and workbooks: $290 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $70 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Teresa
