Help Alexa save Ginger - surgery needed
A rabbit named Ginger needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $2,850 bill the family can't cover.

Ginger is my rabbit of two years. On 12 August we rushed to Gatineau Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,850.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $310 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Gatineau Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,850
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $630
• Medication and follow-up visits: $220
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $150
