Alejandro runs a volunteer pantry feeding 103 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Wednesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 16 families, and now we feed 103 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 41% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Mar del Plata market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $500 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $180
• Refrigeration and electricity: $55
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $265
With deep gratitude,
Alejandro

Praying for you, Alejandro. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
