Help Alejandra save Luna - surgery needed
A German shepherd named Luna needs orthopedic surgery - a $1,400 bill the family can't cover.
🇪🇸 Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain3,251 views
Luna is my German shepherd of nine years. On 9 January we rushed to Alcalá de Henares Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,400.
They have stabilized Luna, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Luna is more than a pet - Luna walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $125 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Alcalá de Henares Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Luna's recovery.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $770
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $420
• Medication and follow-up visits: $80
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $130
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Rooting for you. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care
Sending love. Poor Luna, hope they feel better soon. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
