Aisha is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at Poitiers University, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,850.
The registrar has said Aisha can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Aisha has a 3.9 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Aisha would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Aisha isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Poitiers University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Final term tuition: $2,430
