Help Aiden save Ziggy - surgery needed
A cat named Ziggy needs emergency surgery - a $2,150 bill the family can't cover.
🇺🇸 27107, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United StatesPosted Aug 1, 20263,287 views
Ziggy is my cat of six years. On 22 July we rushed to Winston-Salem Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,150.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $220 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Winston-Salem Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ziggy's recovery.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $350
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $340
• Emergency surgery: $1,460
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
