Help Afshan with an overdue heating bill before winter

The heating account is 4 months behind. Afshan received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before an unexpected car repair. Afshan called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which isn't available. The household includes two young children, and going through winter without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. Afshan is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
