Ginger, Adeline's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $1,950.

Ginger is my German shepherd of two years. On 13 August we rushed to Dundee Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,950.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $115 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Dundee Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ginger's recovery.

• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $270
• Emergency surgery: $1,450
• Medication and follow-up visits: $230
