A first-generation student, Adel needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a degree in civil engineering.

Adel is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Cairo State College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $300.
The registrar has said Adel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Adel has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Adel would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Adel isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Textbooks and materials: $40
• Outstanding tuition balance: $240
