Help Addison start the school year with the right tools
Addison won a place at Los Angeles International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States1,050 views
Addison earned a place in Form 4 at Los Angeles International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $900, which is more than they have.
Addison loves biology and wants to become a doctor. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $900 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $80
• Laptop: $600
• School uniform and shoes: $220
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thank you all. We're at 28% now ($256). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($206 in total) I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Hang in there, Beth. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Please keep us posted.
Good luck with the exams, you've got this. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Los Angeles.
