Help Adam with an overdue heating bill before the cold months
A disconnection notice for heating arrived and Adam needs $250 before October.
Anywhere in the world1,795 views
The heating account is 4 months behind. Adam received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $250 is paid. He had never been late before losing my job in July.
Adam called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $65 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Adam is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Adam's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $250 goes:
• Utility arrears: $100
• Reconnection and late fees: $85
• Down payment on a payment plan: $65
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
