Adalynn was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in March. The surgeon at Manchester Orthopedic Institute recommended hip replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,800, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,850 short.
my mother has been in and out of Manchester Orthopedic Institute since March. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,800 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Adalynn struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Adalynn won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
