Help Aarav keep the the Sunday Shelf pantry stocked
The the Sunday Shelf pantry in Los Angeles is running low just as demand rises; $2,850 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Sunday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 20 families, and now we feed 231 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 36% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Los Angeles market and keep every receipt.
Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,300
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $600
• Baby formula and diapers: $600
• Refrigeration and electricity: $350
Every share and every dollar helps.

Stay strong. Hope this works out for you. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Birmingham.
Thinking of you and your family, Aarav. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
Take care. I hope things turn around soon. I'm in teaching myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings!
You're not alone, Aarav. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Los Angeles.
