Milo is my three-legged dog of thirteen years. On 26 December we rushed to Auckland Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,800. They have stabilized Milo, but the treatment can't wait beyond February. Milo is more than a pet - Milo got me through my hardest year. I have already put $165 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Auckland Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
