Help Aadhya restart a laundry service in Rajkot after floodwater
A laundry service in Rajkot needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after floodwater.
🇮🇳 India1,221 views
For twelve years I have run a laundry service in Rajkot. In June, floodwater took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $470
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $95
• Shop repairs and licensing: $70
• Working capital for the first month: $65
Thank you so much.

You're not alone, Aadhya. I hope things turn around soon.
Thinking of you, Aadhya. Small businesses are the heart of Rajkot. Hope you're open again soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
Wishing you the best. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless!
