After a long hospital stay, Hellen has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at the Nairobi Counselling Collective cost $20 each.
Hellen has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Hellen could afford. The therapist recommends 12 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
