Heating shut-off notice: help Taghreed pay $150
Taghreed is behind on heating bills after a reduction in hours and needs $150 to avoid a shut-off.

The heating account is 2 months behind. Taghreed received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on June unless $150 is paid. She had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Taghreed called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Taghreed is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

• Reconnection and late fees: $15
• Down payment on a payment plan: $30
