Heating shut-off notice: help Lorena pay $700
A disconnection notice for heating arrived and Lorena needs $700 before December.

The heating account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $700. I have never been late before September's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $120 first, which I don't have.
I live with a disabled brother, and going through the rainy season without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Lorena's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $700 goes:
• Water arrears: $370
• Reconnection and late fees: $135
• Down payment on a payment plan: $195
With deep gratitude,
Lorena
