Heating shut-off notice: help Irene pay $700
A disconnection notice for heating arrived and Irene needs $700 before September.

The heating account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $700. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $75 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Irene
Sure. The biggest one is heating arrears, $200. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
