Heating shut-off notice: help Bushra pay $100

Bushra is behind on heating bills after my partner leaving the household and needs $100 to avoid a shut-off.

The heating account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on April unless I pay $100. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have. I live with two young children, and going through winter without heating isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $100 goes: • Utility arrears: $70 • Reconnection and late fees: $20 • Down payment on a payment plan: $10 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
