Heating shut-off notice: help Amit pay $150

The heating account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $150. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which I don't have. I live with an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $150 goes: • Gas arrears: $65 • Reconnection and late fees: $20 • Down payment on a payment plan: $65 Thanks for reading all this. - Amit
