Heather needs a freezer and scales to reopen a fish stall
A fish stall in Belfast needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a fire in the building.
Anywhere in the world2,230 views
For twelve years I have run a fish stall in Belfast. In June, a fire in the building took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Initial stock: the first catch: $580
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $1,250
• Shop repairs and licensing: $370
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Take care. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Jabalpur so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Belfast
So sorry you're going through this, Heather. Hope you get there. Blessings.
Stay strong, Heather. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Uberlândia but we're thinking of you. God bless.
Hope things get better soon, Heather. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Belfast!
