Hazel's school year: uniform, books and a laptop

Hazel earned a place in the first year of senior school at Belfast Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $1,050, which is more than they have. Hazel loves chemistry and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. She will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $1,050 goes: • Laptop: $610 • School uniform and shoes: $180 • Textbooks and workbooks: $200 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $60 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Marilyn
