Hayato's stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment fund
Hayato is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

In August I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. My oncology team at Osaka Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in November. I was told to expect about 12 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 57, I worked as a shop owner until August, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Osaka Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $4,050 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $620
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,300
• Transport to Osaka Cancer Centre: $870
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $260
Thanks for reading all this.

Thinking of you. I hope things turn around soon. All the best!
look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
