Hasini's hip replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
Hasini needs hip replacement surgery at Dehiwala Orthopedic Institute and the family is $1,200 short of the hospital's estimate.

Hasini was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in October. The surgeon at Dehiwala Orthopedic Institute recommended hip replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,400, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,200 short.
my sister has been in and out of Dehiwala Orthopedic Institute since October. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,400 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Hasini struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Hasini won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. surgeon and anesthesia fees is the biggest at $460. I'll keep the page updated.
