Harmony Primary School needs a rainwater harvesting system - Kunal's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Thane are raising $500 for a rainwater harvesting system at Harmony Primary School.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 519 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $400
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $20
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
