Harmony Primary School needs a covered market stall space - Chhaya's neighborhood project
A community-led a covered market stall space at Harmony Primary School that will serve 448 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 448 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $450
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $70
• Tools hire and delivery: $35

Good news. Because of your gifts ($465 in total) we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Small update. $208 so far, I made the first payment toward safety equipment and signage.
Quick update: $156 raised so far (26%). I met with the suppliers and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
