Harmony Primary School needs a community garden - Do-hyun's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Mesa are raising $2,900 for a community garden at Harmony Primary School.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,900.
It will serve about 242 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $165
• Permits and inspections: $210
• Materials: $2,525
Thanks for being kind about this.

Take care. Shared this with my family. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Wudil
Sending strength, Do-hyun. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Take care.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Mesa
