Harmony Primary School needs a community fridge - Beatrice's neighborhood project

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $300. It will serve about 551 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $300 goes: • Materials: $180 • Tools hire and delivery: $85 • Safety equipment and signage: $35 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
