Harmony Park needs a playground - Waylon's neighborhood project
A community-led a playground at Harmony Park that will serve 346 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $3,650.
It will serve about 346 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $480
• Materials: $2,600
• Tools hire and delivery: $570
