Hani received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Hani needs $550 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Bekasi.

After a sudden layoff at the warehouse, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $550.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by April, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $550 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $35
• Late fees and court costs: $20
• Rent arrears (3 months): $495
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

you're not alone, Hani. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless
so sorry you're going through this, Hani. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope April is when things finally get easier. Take care.
