Haile's final semester of a diploma in hospitality management in Addis Ababa

Haile is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Addis Ababa Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500. The registrar has said Haile can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Haile has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Haile would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Haile isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
