Hadley needs a braille note-taker - help us make it happen
Hadley needs a braille note-taker that the health system won't fund; the cost is $8,000.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the Augusta Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $8,000.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $8,000 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $75
• braille note-taker: $7,750
• First-year servicing plan: $175
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hang in there. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Riverside
