Ha-joon served ten years; now needs help to get home
After ten years of service, Ha-joon is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.
🇺🇸 Orlando, Florida, United States1,700 views
Hae-won served ten years in the air force and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. She has been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $4,000.
Hae-won is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $4,000 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $300
• Essential household items: $570
• Training provider fees: $3,130
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
