Guillaume's knee replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled knee replacement surgery in October is out of reach without help covering $2,800 of the cost.

Guillaume was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes in August. The surgeon at Boulogne-Billancourt Community Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,750, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $2,800 short.
my father has been in and out of Boulogne-Billancourt Community Hospital since August. The doctors say severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Guillaume struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Guillaume won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
